Based in the Rio Grande Valley, SERVE , a Joint Effort for South Texas, is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. SERVE South Texas answers a critical dual-need within our community. First, it addresses the vocational and psychological hurdles that retired public employees and veterans experience upon separating from active service. Second, it fills severe commercial workforce deficits throughout the South Texas region. Rather than offering short-term assistance, we channel their existing discipline into advanced fields, transforming career-driven transition into community stability.
Legal Status Notice: We are currently operating in our pre-incorporation and launch phase in the State of Texas, actively assembling our initial Board of Directors and preparing formal corporate filings to secure official IRS tax-exempt recognition.
Security & Guard Training : Delivering specialized physical security courses, firearm safety certification, and tactical asset protection training to build highly qualified guard personnel.
Enriched Mental Health : Providing proactive counseling, peer-led post-traumatic stress management groups, and holistic decompression resources to ensure emotional resilience and well-being.
Restorative Local Reintegration: Cultivating localized support networks, community mentorship, and transition pathways to build lasting personal stability and local purpose.
Vocational Pathways: Fostering workforce readiness, specialized skills development, and local employment connections to empower individuals toward sustainable career growth.
Enduring Executive Leadership : Cultivates sustainable fundraising structures, solid corporate partnerships, and transparent board governance to secure a permanent legacy for South Texas families.
